Halloween Carnival Donations

Thank you for all your donations for our wonderful Halloween carnival. We felt it was a great success. We couldn't have done it without you!!

Snack Calendar

Please remember to check the snack calendar to see when it is your turn to bring snack. We have had a few people forget lately and the children feel bad that they missed their turn to bring it. Also, remember to check the bottom of the calendar to see how many kids to bring it for. Thanks to all the parents who have tried to keep our snack time healthy!!

Witches!!

I am in need of a few parents, without little children to watch, to come help us do our witch craft. If you are available to help this Thursday at 10 a.m. for the Jump Start class, or Friday at 10:30 for the Pre-K class please let me know ASAP.

Halloween Carnival

Thank you to everyone who turned in a form to donate items for our carnival. I will be putting up a paper on the door to let you know if there is anything else we are in need of. If you are donating candy, prizes/toys etc. you can begin bringing them in now.

Nursery Rhymes

We have been learning a new nursery rhyme each week. Remember to ask your child to tell it to you, they are having so much fun learning them!

We have learned the following so far:

• 1,2 Buckle My Shoe
• Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater
• Little Miss Muffett

No School Day

Remember there is no school on Monday, Sept. 29th. Class will be held on Tuesday for a field trip.

Teddy Bear Day

We had a "Beary" fun time on Teddy Bear Day in our Pre-K class. Jump Start Teddy Bear Day is this Thursday, Sept. 25th. Please remember to send your children with their favorite teddy bear!

Field Trip- Children's Treehouse Museum

Please remember to send your field trip money ($3.50 per child) in as soon as possible. All field trip money should be returned with the permission slip. The museum does not allow Treehouse memberships to be used for field trips.

Blanket Day

To help learn about rectangles, we will be having Blanket Day on Monday, September 8th for the Pre-K class and Tuesday, September 9th for the Jump Start class. We will be doing some fun activities with their blankets, and they love showing off their favorite blanket.

Color Month

The month of September we will be learning about colors. Please try to have your child wear something for the color we will be learning about that day (I know some colors are hard). The kids feel bad when everyone is wearing the color of the day except them. If your want your snack to match the color that would also be fun! Please remember there are 12 children in each class when it is your turn to bring snack.

Preschool Open House

Our Preschool Open House will be on Tuesday, August 26th.

• T/TH Jump Start Class will be from 9:30-10:30
• M/W/F Pre-K Class will be from 11-12

This will be a fun time for the kids to become familiar with their school. Parents, please leave other siblings home if possible.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year with your children! Classes begin Sept. 2nd and 3rd.
